Mrs. Lettie Mae Mize Roberts, 93, of 6381 Elberton Hwy, Tignall, GA, died Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Cobb Memorial Hospital.

Born on May 20, 1918 in Hart County, she was the daughter of the late Otho C. Mize and Quillie Winn Mize.She was the retired co-owner of AG Grocery of Bowman and Roberts ABC Store in Washington, and retired from Sky City of Washington.She was also a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Gideon's International.

Survivors include two sons: Daniel Vance Roberts, Jr. and his wife, Jeanne, of Lookout Mountain, GA, and Samuel Pope Roberts and his wife, Denise, of Tignall, GA; three brothers: Alvin Mize of Bowman, Arnold Mize of Royston, and Jep Mize of Royston; one sister: Lois Mize of Bowman; five grandchildren: Lauren Roberts, Lucas Roberts, Layla Roberts, Ross Roberts, and Michelle Hise; and two great grandchildren: Leah Sage Chambers and Lane Roberts.Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Daniel Vance Roberts; seven brothers: Ernest, Lee, Warren, Wilburn, Jule, James, and Nelson Mize; and two sisters: Alice Todd and Dora Whitmire.

Memorial services will be held Friday, October 28, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Holly Springs Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday night at the funeral home.The family is at their respective homes.
