Mr. Levi Kenneth Hodges, age 66, of Lavonia, died Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Ty Cobb Regional Medical Center.
Born May 14, 1947, in Johnson City, TN he was the son of Edward Kenneth and Ruth Edna (Buckner) Hodges. Mr. Hodges was a farmer and was a veteran of the US Army. He was a member of Boones Creek Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife: Nina (Cagle) Hodges of the home; son: Levi Hodges, Jr and his wife Perla; daughter: Jody White; grandchildren: Phillip White, Graham White, Hannah White, Cade White and Ruel White; and sister: Elizabeth Hensley.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 22, 2013 from Lavonia City Cemetery with Rev. Richard Bielski officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. At other times the family will be at the home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the charity or church of your choice.
