Mrs. Liliane Halgand Chapman, 75, of C&C Circle, Hartwell, passed away Friday, July 8, 2016 at her home.

Born on April 9, 1941 in Saint Nazaire France, she was the daughter of the late Honore B. Halgand and Jeanne Guriec Halgand.Mrs. Chapman was the first office manager for Woodlake Apartments and the office manager for Chapman Appraisal Service.She was also an active member of Hartwell First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband: Wilbur Kay Chapman; her brother: Claude Halgand of Saint Nazaire France; her sister: Annick Tattevin of Quimiac France; two grandchildren: Tyler and Breanna Chapman; and one great grandchild: Kaylee Teasley.Mrs. Chapman was preceded in death by her parents; her Son: Eric Halgand Chapman and his wife Elaine Evans Chapman and one brother: Roger Halgand.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at 11:00 am at the Hartwell First United Methodist Church with Dr. R. Alan Stewart and Rev. Witt Chapman officiating.Burial will be in the Northview Cemetery.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening.The family is at the home. Flowers appreciated, memorials may be made to the Hartwell First United Methodist Church, 200 East Howell Street, Hartwell GA 30643.
