Mr. Lillie Jean Henderson, 73, of 345 Bio Lane, Hartwell, died Saturday, July 2, 2011 at her home.
Born on January 2, 1938 in Hartwell, GA, she was the daughter of the late James Robert Hicks and Eva Gladys Murray Hicks.She was a caregiver to the elderly and a member of the Cedar Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son: Randy Henderson of Toccoa; two daughters, Janice Evans and Sandra Speers both of Hartwell; a brother: John T. Hicks of Orlando FL; a sister: Mildred Harville of Statesboro GA; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren also survive.Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Harold Hall Henderson and two brothers: Morgan Hicks and James Hicks.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 4, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday night.The family is at the home.Flowers optional, memorials may be made to defray medical and funeral cost.
