Obituary
Mrs. Linda Elizabeth Bearden Dalton, 79, of Griffin Lane, Danielsville, passed away February 9, 2022 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.
Born on December 14, 1943 in Athens, GA, she was the daughter of the late Griff Bearden and Bessie Damron Bearden. Mrs. Dalton was seamstress for Rogan Manufacturing.
Survivors include her son: Tommy Dalton (Donna) of Bowman; daughter: Melinda N. Horne(Greg) of Danielsville; two grandchildren: Christy Brewer Hatton and Misty Brewer Hartrum; seven great grandchildren: Samuel Haralson, Savannah Hatton, Samantha Hatton, Summer Hatton, Caitlin Hartrum, Cayla Hartrum, and Caden Hartrum. Mrs. Dalton is preceded in death by her parents and her husband: Columbus Thomas "C.T." Dalton.
It was Linda's wishes to be cremated and a memorial service celebrating her life will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Cedar Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Huntsinger officiating. The church's address is 495 Cedar Grove Baptist Church Rd, Comer, GA.
The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
