Linda Frances Cain Lott, age 79, of Lavonia, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Manor Lake Assisted Living and Memory Care.

She was born June 18, 1944 in Oconee County, the daughter of the late Paul & Geneva Cain. She was a member of the Lavonia First United Methodist Church. She retired from Dollar General as an area manager and volunteered in the community through Pilot Club International, where she served with both Commerce and Lavonia Clubs, and managing the Lavonia Food Bank with her husband. She loved spending time with grandchildren and friends, working in the yard, and quilting. She always enjoyed walking on the beach and flowers. She will be remembered for the happy spirit and welcoming smile that always displayed while performing acts of community service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Bobby Lott; and sister: Ann Martin.

She is survived by children & their spouses: Ricky & Suzanne Brewer, Andy Brewer; Randy & Cindy Lott, Sherry & Tony Hawk, Charlene & Brad Clower, Susan & Ivan Ruiz, Richy & Stacey Lott; sister: Peggy Jones; grandchildren: Matthew & Haley G. Brewer, Mandi Bruce & Cale Phylyall, Jeremy, Randy Jr., Harmony, Christian, Micki, Jessi, and Joni; and 7 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 19, 2024, at the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia with Rev. Courtney Umbehant officiating. The family will receive friends Friday beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Lavonia City – Burgess Cemetery.
