Linda Joan Blankenship McCall, age 82, of Canon, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023 at her home.

Born August 28, 1940, in Atlanta, she was the daughter of the late J. D. and Lillie Wood Blankenship. She retired from the Georgia Department of Corrections, where she worked as Personnel Manager. Mrs. McCall was a member of New Franklin Christian Church. She will be remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, and caring grandmother & great-grandmother.

She is survived by her husband: Keith McCall of the home; daughter & son-in-law: Angie & Donnie Duke; sons & daughters-in-law: Scott & LaJuan Jones and Neil & Lynne Jones; grandchildren: Kyle & Casie Duke, Kayla & Justin Carpenter, and Korey & Karla Duke, Dustin & Karen Jones, Melissa & Russell Wilkinson, Analiese & Kyle Stopek, Joshua & Dale Jones, and Jacob & Mikaela Jones; and 15 great-grandchildren

The funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at New Franklin Christian Church with Pastor Carl Beckham officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Justin Carpenter, Korey Duke, Kyle Duke, Dustin Jones, Joshua Jones, and Kyle Stopek. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Flowers are optional or memorial donations may be made to the New Franklin Christian Church, 4244 New Franklin Church Road, Canon, GA 30520.
