Mrs. Linda Childs Carter Stanton, 66, of 102 S. Charter Rd., Glen Burnie MD, died Monday, September 22, 2008 at her home.
Born on September 3, 1942 in Hart Co. GA, she was the daughter of the late Olige Childs and Kathleen Reynolds Childs.She was an executive administrative assistant at the Bank of Glen Burnie and a member of the Heritage Community Church.
Survivors include her Husband: Guy Stanton of the home; Sister: Evene Howell of Stone Mountain, GA; Brothers: Doyt Childs of Lavonia and Wayne Childs of Severn, MD.She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband: Dr. Ronald J. Carter and a brother: Lee E. Childs.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 29, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Entombment at Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.
