Linda Darlene Huston Whitworth, age 68, of Lavonia, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at Pruitt Health of Macon.

Born April 18, 1957, in Long Beach, CA, she was the daughter of the late Francis Blaine Huston and Frances Powell. Until her disability, she worked as a biscuit maker for McDonalds. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.

She is survived by her daughters, Mary Whitworth (Chris) Bailey and Sherry Ann Whitworth (Leland) Raley; grandchildren, Michael (Jr.) Turner, and Erica (Steven) Padgett; great-grandchildren, Michael (Jr) Turner, Stevie Padgett, and Ian Padgett; brothers, Donald (Kim) Huston and Francis Huston; and sisters, Wanda Justice, Diane Huston, and Rosie Huston; and several nieces and nephews. Linda is dancing in Heaven with her mom, granddaughter, Hope Porterfield Turner, and great-grandson, Paul Padgett.

The graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2025 at the Lavonia City – Burgess Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until the service. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to defray funeral expenses.
