Mrs. Linda Carpenter Wigley, 82, of Bowman, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at her home.

Born on May 31, 1942 in Hartwell, GA, she was the daughter of the late Luther Carpenter and Blanche Cantrell Carpenter.  Mrs. Wigley was a seamstress and machine operator for the Hartwell Company, and was a member of the Holly Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter: Elaine Pulliam of Bowman; two brothers: Donnie Carpenter of Hartwell, and Alton Owens of Belton, SC; two sisters: Carol Mize of Dewy Rose, and Janet Dove of Royston; three grandchildren: Chris Baker, Dalton Pulliam, and Hayley Ann Baker; and three great-grandchildren: Braylin Baker, Riley Baker, and Dakota Pulliam. Mrs. Wigley is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Frank Wigley; son: Robert Baker; and three brothers: Bobby Carpenter, Danny Carpenter, and Mitchell Carpenter.

The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Holly Springs Baptist Church. Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Wigley will be held Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Holly Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Fred Jones officiating.  Burial will be in the Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
