Ms. Linda Gail Evans Williams, 68, of 283 Nancy Drive, Hartwell, died Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Athens Regional Medical Center.

Born on June 9, 1945 in Hartwell GA, she was the daughter of the late Grady Evans and Ruby McCurley Evans.Ms. Williams was a retired machine operator at Johnson & Johnson and a member of the Gethsemane Baptist Temple in Starr SC.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathey Osborne and her husband Doug of Toccoa, three sons, Chris Robertson and his wife Alexa of Hartwell, David Robertson and his wife Kim of Hartwell, and Kyle Williams of Hartwell; two sisters, Mary Eaves of Hartwell, and Charlotte Carlton of Easley SC; one brother Doug Evans of Ft. Myers FL; ten grandchildren, and five great grandchildren also survive.Ms. Williams was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Fiegley, and Evelyn Sholle; one brother, Joe Evans and a granddaughter, Alexis Robertson.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, December 18 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Sam Duncan officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. The family is at the home.
