Mr. Robert Lebern "Lindbergh" Royston, age 81, of Lavonia, died Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at his home following an extended illness.
Born April 9, 1928, in Franklin County, he was the son of the late J.T. & Bertie Mae (Brown) Royston. He was a construction welder and electrician. Mr. Royston attended Fairview Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son: Roger Lebern Royston; brothers: Cecil & Olian Royston; and great-grandchild: Jaycee Bruce Berryman.
He is survived by his wife: Mozelle (Segars) Royston; daughters and sons-in-law: Faye & Tony Bruce and Renee & Rodney Andrews; (adopted) son and wife: Tommy & Lucy Maxwell; brothers: Wineford Royston & Colian Royston; grandchildren: Tiffany, Christy, Shena, Blake, Braden, & Haley; great-grandchildren: Dylan, Dalton, Kazlynn, Austin, Alexis, Asher, Cooper, & Erica; and several nieces and nephews.
