Mrs. Lindy Ann (Taylor) Barnett, age 84, of Lavonia, died Saturday, April 23, 2016 at her home.
Born September 3, 1931, in Atlanta, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Alice (Bostwick) Taylor. She earned a Master of Social Work Degree and worked in that field.
She is survived by her daughter: JoEllen Barnett; sons: Murphy Miller Barnett and Clay Edwin Barnett; grandchildren: Orion Smith, Shiloh Smith, Anna Marie Smith and Jordan Barnett; brother & sister-in-law: John Paul and Amy Taylor.
Mrs. Barnett's request was to be cremated and the family will have a private memorial gathering at a later date.
