Ms. Lisa Michelle Carey, 36, of Royston, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024 in Royston GA.

Born on December 18, 1987 in Royston GA, she was the daughter of Deborah Lynn Rowland Carey and the late Ronnie Carey.  Lisa was employed at Atlanta Rods in Lavonia, loved the Georgia Bulldogs, always had a smile on her face and was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include her mother: Lynn Rowland of Royston; a son: Ryan Landon Carey of Royston; two brothers: Matthew Carey and Zack Carey both of Royston; 2 nephews that she thought of as sons: Matt Carey and Grayson Fowler both of Royston; three sisters: Lyndsey Fleeman, Brandy Stanley and Ashley Carey all of Royston; several aunts, uncles, cousins and her work family also survive.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father; her paternal grandparents: Z.O. and Millie Carey and her maternal grandparents: Harold and Dollie Rowland.

The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Other times the family will be at the home.

Memorial services for Ms. Lisa Carey will be held Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Glenn Lyles officiating.

The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
