Logan Warren Thomason, age 8, of Clarkesville, died Saturday, May 23, 2009 at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Born July 20, 2000, in Clarke County, he was the son of Rebecca (Spears) Thomason and Steven Mills. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by his parents: Rebecca Thomason & Steven Mills of Clarkesville; brother: Mason Mills; sisters: Breeleigh Thomason, Katie Mills, & Madesen Mills; maternal grandparents: Truett & Gwen Spears of Lavonia; and paternal grandparents: Trudy Franklin & Cliff Myers of Cleveland, Bruce Franklin of Cornelia, and Chuck & Irene Mills of Jefferson.
The funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Kenneth Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens – North.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. At other hours the family will be at the home of Truett & Gwen Spears.
