Obituary
Miss Mary Lois White, 83, of 741 Mt. Olivet School Rd., Hartwell, died Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at Hartwell Health Care Center.
Born on November 9, 1923 in Hart County Georgia, she was the daughter Columbus White and Exie Bailey White.She was retired from Appleton Mill, Anderson SC, where she was a battery filler and weaver.She was a former member of the Double Springs Baptist Church, Anderson and a member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, Hartwell.
Survivors include two brothers: George White of Hartwell and Jim White of Canon; four sisters: Ruby McCoy of Anderson, Margie Richardson, Emma Simpson and Dot Fowler all of Hartwell; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Friday, February 2 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Joe Black officiating. Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday afternoon.The family is at their respective homes.
