Mrs. Lonie B. Dyer Isom, age 89 of 476 Cade Street, Hartwell, Ga., died December 1, 2009.

Born July 3, 1920 in Stephens Co. GA, she was the daughter of the late James M. "Jim" Dyer and Pemerlia Liza Jane Lowe Dyer. She was a homemaker and member of the Hartwell First Baptist Church.

She is survived by; sons, James E. Isom of Clayton, Ga., and Troy A. Isom of Hartwell, Ga., daughter, Willette Phillips of Anderson, S.C., brothers, J.D. Dyer and Royce Dyer of Hartwell, Ga., and Eugene Dyer of Anderson, S.C., sister, Gussie Mae Mabry of Hartwell, Ga. Twelve grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild also survives. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J V Isom; two sons, Broadus Isom
& Gerald Isom; a daughter, Annette Isom and a sister, Lucille Lovern.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the Hartwell Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Rev. Doug Brown will officiate. Burial will follow in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
