Mrs. Lorene Eavenson Howell, 104, of Bowersville Hwy, Bowersville, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at her home.

Born on September 24, 1912 in Royston, GA, she was the daughter of the late John Willis Eavenson and Tallie Sartain Eavenson.Mrs. Howell was a homemaker and a member of the Cross Roads Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons: Joel Howell of Jackson, GA, Doyle Howell of Bowersville; one daughter: Martha Human of Lavonia; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.Mrs. Howell was preceded in death by her husband: Marvin Thomas Howell; two sons: Alston Howell, Chandler Howell; two daughters: Mary Rhodes, Naomi Parks and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be Friday, October 21, 3:00 pm at the Cross Roads Baptist Church with Rev. Sean Payne and Rev. Connie Mack Bowers officiating.Burial will be in the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Friday prior to the service at the Cross Roads Baptist Church.The family is at the home.
