Mrs. Loretta Jones Brunson, 82, of Hartwell, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at her home.

Born on November 20, 1942, in Bowie, TX, she was the daughter of the late Naomi Jones. Mrs. Brunson was a beautician in Lincoln Park, MI, and retired as a cashier from Kroger in Gwinnett County, GA. She was also of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her daughter: Pam Briggs and son-in-law Bill of Hartwell; brother: Butch Jones of Bowie, TX; and two grandchildren: Bristol & Baker Briggs. Mrs. Brunson is preceded in death by her mother and her husband: Hutch Brunson.

It was Mrs. Brunson's wishes to be cremated and a memorial service celebrating her life will be held at a later date by the family.
