Obituary
Mrs. Louise Calhoun Cotney, 92, of 94 Cade Street, Hartwell, died Friday, September 14, 2012 at Hartwell Health Care Center.
Born on April 27, 1920 in Gay, GA, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Perry Calhoun and Mary Flourney Calhoun.She was retired from West Point-Pepperell Manufacturing where she worked as a spinner.
Survivors include one daughter, Brenda J. Vaughn of Canon; nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren also survive.Mrs. Cotney was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.C. Cotney; and a daughter, Eunice Nelson.
Mrs. Cotney's wishes were to be cremated and a private memorial service will be held later by the family.
