Mrs. Louise Turner Jones, 69, of B. Bailey Road, Hartwell, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center, Athens.

Born on April 1, 1948 in Anderson SC, she was the daughter of the late Ralph B. Turner and Hilda Chitwood Turner.Mrs. Jones was a seamstress, loved working in her flowers and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years; Albert F. Jones; a son: Robert Jones & Tracy of Hartwell; two daughters; Wendy Ellis & Joseph and Susan Segars & Anthony all of Hartwell; five grandchildren: Casey Jackson, Amber Jeannetti, David Ellis, Angel Jones and Ezekiel Jones and four great-grandchildren: Macie Jackson, Alyssa & Gavin Jeannetti and Abbie Jackson.Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents; a sister: Irene Dickerson and a brother: Robin Turner

A memorial service celebrating Louise's life will held on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Jason Webb officiating.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.The family will be at the home.Flowers optional, memorials may be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities, 795 Gatewood Road, NE, Atlanta, GA 30329
