Mr. Lowell Blanchard Suits, age 71, of Lavonia, died Sunday, July 10, 2011 at his home.
Born September 21, 1939, in the Frytown Community of Fannin County, GA, he was the son of the late Lloyd Suits and Ruth Welch Suits Ganues. Mr. Suits retired from AT&T after many years of service in their IT Department. He was a veteran of the US Army, where he served during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife: Frances Elizabeth Poss Suits; daughter: Laura Ann Bland and Carl; step-son: Billy Poss and Melinda; grandchildren: Justin Jones, Zachary Jones, Johanna Bland, and Trey Bland; sisters: Phyllis Cook, Glenda Lindsey, Kathy Tindle, Shirley Oxford, and Vicky Robinson; and a brother: Jack Ganues. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife: JoAnne Bell Suits.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Copperhill, TN with Rev. James A. Cheatham officiating.
