Ms. Lucy Robertson Brown, 89, of Rock Springs Community, Lavonia, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Hart Care Center.

Born on November 13, 1932 in Lavonia GA, she was the daughter of the late Howell Baxter Robertson and Lizzie Mae Gray Robertson Byrum. Lucy was an inspector and seamstress for 43 years from The Hartwell Company and retired from Gips Manufacturing as a seamstress.She was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church where she served as a former treasurer and Sunday School teacher.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Ms. Brown was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father: Bennie Byrum; three brothers: Walker Robertson, Bill Robertson, Bob Robertson and one sister: Nina Haley.

The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

Funeral services for Ms. Lucy Brown will be held Friday, March 11, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Terry James officiating.Burial will be in the Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
