Mrs. Lula Mae Hicks Standridge, 86, of Sunnybrook Lane, Hartwell, passed away Friday, April 27, 2018 at Hartwell Health & Rehab.

Born on February 4, 1932 in Hartwell GA, she was the daughter of the late L.B. Hicks and Genie White Hicks.Mrs. Standridge was retired from Hartwell Mills, was a caregiver after her retirement and was a member of the Mt. Olivet Church of God.

Survivors include her daughter: Susan Standridge Freeman and her husband Terry of Hartwell; two grandchildren: Faith Freeman and Amy Freeman Mize and her husband Andy and a great-grandchild: Abigail Mize.Mrs. Standridge was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: James Standridge; two sisters: Olivia Cobb and Gracie Haygood and two brothers: J. B. Hicks and Sam Hicks.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 30, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mt. Olivet Church of God with Rev. Wayne Durden and Mr. Fred Greenway officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening.The family will be at the home of Amy & Andy Mize, 75 Jonaustin Way, Hartwell.Flowers optional, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 550, Atlanta GA 30346.
