Mrs. Lula Belle Sullivan Cobb, 78, of Hartwell, passed away Monday, March 6, 2023 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital, Lavonia.

Born on January 29, 1945 in Hartwell GA, she was the daughter of the late Perry Sullivan and Annie Bratcher Sullivan.  Mrs. Cobb was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was also an active member of the Cross Roads Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Howard J. Cobb; a daughter: Amanda Adams (Kyle) of Hartwell; three sons: Mark Cobb (Andrea) of Lavonia, Nick Cobb (Anna) of Richmond Hill GA and Chad Cobb (Lori) of Gainesville GA; three sisters: Montine Cagle, Ruth Bowers and Vernell Byrum all of Bowersville; a sister-in-law: Judy Sullivan of Bowersville; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Cobb was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter: Angela Marie Cobb; a sister: Miller Garland and two brothers: Gene Sullivan and Jack Sullivan.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.  Other times the family will be at the home of her son: Mark & Andrea Cobb, 648 Caney Branch Road, Lavonia.

A service celebrating the life of Mrs. Lula Cobb will be held Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Beckham and Rev. Sean Payne officiating. Mrs. Cobb wished to be cremated after her service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cross Roads Baptist Church, 3636 Lavonia Hwy, Hartwell GA 30643.
