Mrs. Lynda Ann Reid Byrum, 72, of Hartwell, passed away Monday, April 13, 2020 at The Veranda in Carnesville, GA.

Born on January 6, 1948 in Marietta, GA, she was the daughter of the late Maurice B. Reid and Mary McIlwain Reid.Mrs. Byrum was a retired HR supervisor for the Hart Co. Hospital. She was also a member of the Bio Baptist Church and a former member of the Hartwell Garden Club.

Survivors include her son: Brannon Byrum (Sarah); three grandchildren: Hayden Byrum, Roman Byrum, and Samara Byrum and Sarah's mother, who Lynda thought of as a sister: Choeuy Long all of Hartwell. Mrs. Byrum is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Hugh Teasley Byrum; and her daughter: Alison Deanne Byrum.

Because of the current conditions concerning the health and well-being of our community, the family will not be having a formal visitation.They ask that everyone keep them in their thoughts and prayers in the coming days and weeks.Also anyone can leave their condolences and best wishes on Lynda's Tribute page.

Graveside services for Mrs. Lynda Byrum will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Bio Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Sam Gray officiating. Everyone will be asked to practice Social Distancing and may want to bring a lawn chair.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bio Baptist Church, 2595 Bio Church Rd, Hartwell, GA 30643.
