Mrs. Lynda Goodwin Dove, age 64, of Royston, died Saturday, August 13, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospice House.
Born May 12, 1947, in Royston, she was the daughter of the late William Charlie Goodwin and Frances "Frankie" (Chitwood) Goodwin. Mrs. Dove worked for Tyson Cobb Vantress.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers: Steve Goodwin, Charles "Doody" Goodwin and Jimmy Goodwin.
She is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law: Peggy & Craig Cromer and Tammy & Junior McLeroy; grandchildren: Josh McLeroy, Nina Holbrooks, & Jeremy Holbrooks; great grandchildren: Kaylynn & Kristine McLeroy; sisters: Juanita Sanders, Diane Long, and Doris Miller.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 15, 2011 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Chaplin Antoinette Kemp officiating burial will be in Bowers Memorial Park. The family will receive friend at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
