Ms. Lynn Marie McLane Berdon, 53, of Cleveland Mill Road, Hartwell GA, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017 at her home.

Born on August 1, 1964 in Athens GA, she was the daughter of Nita Young Parham and the late Hugh W. McLane. Ms. Berdon was a self-employed dog breeder and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her mother: Nita Young Parham of Athens GA; one son: Chad Berdon of Kathleen GA, one daughter:Maria Berdon of Athens GA; three sisters: Jan McLane of Raleigh NC, Debbie Parham Pollard of Jacksonville FL, Claire Parham of Athens GA and one grandchild: Olivia Nichols. Ms. Berdon was preceded in death by her father: Hugh McLane

A memorial service celebrating Lynn's life will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.

The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell prior to the service.The family is at their respective homes.

The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
