Rev. Martin Clifford "M.C." Radford, 83, of 301 Cherokee Dr, Bowman, died Saturday, July 10, 2010 at his home.

Born November 10, 1926, in Soperton, GA, he was the son of the late Claude L. Radford and Estelle Trull Radford.Rev. Radford was a member of the Hartwell Church of God where he served as an Associate Pastor. He was a former pastor of Elberton Church of God, Canon Church of God, Carnesville Church of God and several other churches in the Georgia Church of God Conference.Rev. Radford was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII.

He is survived by one daughter, Estelle Radford of Bowman, GA; one brother, George Radford of Swainsboro, GA; three sisters, Mary Nell Godball of Jacksonville, FL, Elaine Young of Martinez, GA, and Essie Murray of Swainsboro, GA; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 8 great great-grandchildren also survive.He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lottie Wells Radford and a daughter, Juanita Radcliff.

Funeral services will be Monday, July 12 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hartwell Church of God with Rev. Lonnie Bennett, Rev. Ken Buffington and Rev. Jimmy Bryan officiating.Burial will be in the Wells Cemetery, Hinesville GA.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday night.The family is at the home of his daughter, Estelle Radford, 133 Bowers St, Bowman.
