Mrs. Eula Mae Donald Brock Byrum, 89, of Providence Church Road, Lavonia, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Brookdale Assisted Living Center, Hartwell.

Born on February 16, 1926 in Fair Play, SC, she was the daughter of the late Robert C. Donald and Cecil Mae Brady Donald.Mrs. Byrum was a retired seamstress from Hartwell Garment Co. and a member of the Providence United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her son: Allen Brock and his wife Jeannette of Hartwell; two daughters: Evelyn Lee and her husband Mack, Diana Turner both of Westminster, SC; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers: Wade Donald of Pendleton, SC, Gary Donald of Hartwell, Lloyd Donald of Pendleton, SC; two sisters: Susie Brock of Hartwell and Ann Alewine and Bob of Minnesota.Mrs. Byrum was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband: B.D. Brock and her second husband: Melvin Byrum and one daughter: Sherry Ann Brock.

Funeral services will be Monday, December 28, 2015, 1:00 pm in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Doug Brown officiating.Burial will be in the Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 p.m. Monday prior to the service.The family is at their respective homes.Flowers are optional, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
