Mrs. Mae Bell Craft Ertzberger Fleming, 98, of Hartwell, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022 at her home.

Born on August 31, 1923 in Bowersville, GA, she was the daughter of the late Crate Craft and Carrie Coe Craft. Mrs. Fleming was a former sales lady for Bailes Cobb Clothing Store. She was also a member of the Cross Roads Baptist Church where she kept the nursery for more than 50 years.

Survivors include her daughter: Jane C. Herring of Bowersville; three grandchildren: Bruce Herring (Cindy), Greg Ertzberger, Tracy Parson (Jack); eight great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Fleming is preceded in death by her parents; first husband: Artis DeCosta Ertzberger; second husband: Walbert Monroe Fleming; son: Tim Ertzberger; son-in-law: Gerald Herring; brother: Donnie Craft; two sisters: Willie Burns and Eloise Vickery; one grandson: Brian Keith Herring; and two great grandchildren: Alex and Bryson Herring.

The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mae Bell Fleming will be held Monday, January 24, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Sean Payne officiating.Burial will be in the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery.

Flowers are optional, and memorials may be made to the Cross Roads Baptist Church Family Life Center, 3636 Lavonia Hwy, Hartwell, GA 30643.
