Mr. Malcolm Jarrells, age 65, of Martin, died Saturday, November 03, 2012 at his home.
Born October 3, 1947, in Blountville, TN, he was the son of the late Brady and Dorthy (Tyree) Jarrells. He was a retired truck driver. Mr. Jarrells was a veteran of the US Army and a member of Old Pathway Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife: Gloria Patterson Pointer Jarrells of the home; sons: Randy & Joyce Pointer of Lavonia, Bobby & Jane Pointer of Martin, and David & Teri Jarrells of Texas; daughters: Gail & Ronnie Corbitt of Martin and Pam & Jerry Watkins of Canon; brothers: Harry and Larry Jarrells of TN; sister: Cathy Ruttledge of TN; twenty-two grandchildren and thirty-four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Old Pathway Baptist Church with Pastors Lee Pointer and Billy Swift officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens – North.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Old Pathway Baptist Church Bus Ministry, 70 Lankford Road, Bowersville, GA 30516.
