Mr. Malcolm Junior "PeeWee" Morrison, 71, of Hickory Crossing Road, Hartwell, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at his home.

Born on June 23, 1950 in Orlando FL, he was the son of the late Malcolm Hamilton Morrison and Sally Mae Hicks Morrison.Mr. Morrison was a farmer and a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife: Dianne Vaughn Morrison, a daughter: Melissa Morrison; two sons: Michael Morrison and Nicholas Morrison all of Hartwell; a sister: Martha Adams (Doug) of Hartwell and a brother: Bobby Morrison (Jean) of Royston GA.Mr. Morrison was preceded in death by two brothers: Toby Morrison and Billy Morrison and two sisters: Mary Frances Hornick and Margaret Evans.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Other times the family will be at the home of Martha and Doug Adams, Evans Road, Hartwell.

A service celebrating the life of Malcolm Morrison will be held Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Brewer officiating. Mr. Morrison will be cremated following the service.

Flowers are optional, and memorials may be made to the Hart Co. Humane Society, PO Box 1062, Hartwell GA 30643.
