Mrs. Mamie Wilson Weaver, 77, of 546 Fred King Rd, Hartwell, died Wednesday, January 13 at Hart Co. Hospital.

Born October 3, 1932 in Hart County, she was the daughter of the late Sam Wilson and Helen Chastain Wilson. She was a retired LPN with Heritage Inn Nursing Home / Hartwell Healthcare Center, also worked at Hart Care Center, Brown Memorial and Toccoa Nursing Center. She was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church and Carolyn Brown Sunday School Class.

She is survived by: son, Barry Weaver and his wife Tammy of Hartwell, Ga., sister, Marlene Powers of Elberton, Ga. Grandchildren, Crystal Beebe, Austin Weaver, Chad Weaver, great-grandchildren, Britt Dyar, Sienna Beebe and Cali Beebe. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Sammy Wilson.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 15, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from the Hartwell Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Rev. Terry Meeks will officiate. Burial will be at Nancy Hart Memorial Park. Memorial may be made to Cornerstone Baptist Church Building Fund, 1543 Anderson Highway, Hartwell, Ga. 30643.

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and the family will be at the home of Barry and Tammy Weaver, 546 Fred King Road, Hartwell, Ga.
