Mrs. Margaret Emily Stuart Davis, 76, of Melody Lane, Hartwell, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Westminster Commons, Atlanta GA.
Born on February 12, 1942 in Robbinsville NC, she was the daughter of the late Jeff Stuart.Mrs. Davis was a homemaker, ran an in-home children's daycare and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband: Gary Wendell Davis; a son: Keith Davis & Lai of Greenville SC; two daughters: Sheila Whisnant & Lee of Hartwell and Misty Davis of Greenville SC; two brothers: Beecher Stuart of Cumming GA and Hollis Stuart of Braselton GA; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her father: two sons: Gary Davis and Brad Davis; a sister: Opal Rogers and two brothers: Kenneth Stuart and Harold Stuart.
A memorial service celebrating Margaret's life will be held on Tuesday, September 4 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Luther Thomason officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 550, Atlanta GA 30346.
The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
