Obituary
Mrs. Margaret Frances Brown Hill, 82, of Ben Maxwell Road, Bowman, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born on February 29, 1936 in Hartwell, GA, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Edgar Brown and Mary Dessie Phillips Brown.Mrs. Hill was a former lunch room worker, seamstress, and curtain maker, and she was also of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include one daughter: Stephanie Hill of Bowman; one son: Alan Hill of Bowman; two sisters: Betty Kiser and Linda Spencer, both of Hartwell; and two brothers: Milton Brown of Bowersville and Donnie Brown of Hartwell. Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband: George Donald Hill.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Sean Payne officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening. The family is at their respective homes.
The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
