Marjorie "Margie" (Floyd) Cleveland, 92, of Lavonia, died Friday, July 1, 2016 at Hart Care Center.
She was the daughter of the late Clifton and Evie (Vaughn) Floyd. She was employed at Dill's Food City for over 30 years and enjoyed seeing and greeting all of her friends.She loved people and loved life. A lifelong member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, she was thankful for her church who cared enough about the things that were sacred and basic.
Margie was blessed with two husbands. Both served in World War II and were Godly Christian men. First, to Wyatt Isbell March 8, 1949 who died January 29, 1977. Second, to Fay Cleveland May 17, 1992 who died January 20, 1996.
The family will receive friends at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Lavonia, Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until the memorial service at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. John Forbes officiating. Memorials may be made to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. 250 Pleasant Grove Rd, Lavonia, Ga 30553.
