Mrs. Margie (Hobbs) Davis, 77, of Hartwell, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018 at her home.
Born July 12, 1940, in Royston, she was the daughter of the late Luther F. and Vera (Cobb) Hobbs. She worked with the Monroe Company for 32 years. She was a member of Price Chapel Church of God.
She is survived by her daughter: Denise Hambrick; sons: Johnny Ray Williams, Mark Williams and Eddie Williams; sisters: Rebecca Beck and Faye Broome; 8 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters: Geraldine Greemon and Catherine York.
The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 19, 2018 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Stowe officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens – North. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. At other hours the family will be at the home of her daughter Denise Hambrick.
