Obituary
Bernice Margine Gillespie Mintz (Margine) passed away at the age of 83 in Henderson, Nevada on Monday August 27th, 2012 at Saint Rose Hospital, Siena Campus after a long illness.
She was born December 29th, 1928 in Lavonia Georgia.She had retired to live in Henderson, Nevada.She enjoyed spending time gaming with friends.
She was the daughter of Buster and Ida Gillespie, and was survived by a son Wade Mintz and his wife Janet; 3 Grandchildren and 4 Great-grandchildren; and 2 siblings Carles Monroe Gillespie and Henry Russell Gillespie and their families from metro-Atlanta.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00, September 22, 2012 at Strickland Funeral Home 355 Bear Creek Road Lavonia, GA 30553.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested a donation be made to your choice of Senior Support Organizations; Lung Cancer Research or Veterans Support organizations.
