Mrs. Marie Dunn Jordan, 85, ofOld 29 Hwy, Hartwell, died Monday, March 17, 2014 at Hart Care Center, Hartwell.

Born on October 26, 1928 in Anderson, SC she was the daughter of the late Thomas "Tuck" Dunn and Nellie Foster Dunn.She was a former seamstress at Bellcraft Manufacture. She was a member of the Milltown Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons: Thomas Jordan and his wifeRhonda and Ricky Jordan and his wife Brenda, both of Hartwell; two daughters: Barbara Crowe and her husband Howard and Sylvene Temples and her husband Kenneth, both of Hartwell; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren; one brother: Louie Dunn of Anderson, SC.She was preceded in death by her husband: Joe C. Jordan; four brothers: Frank Dunn, Theron Dunn, Stewart Dunn, and Carlton Dunn and one grandson: Mark Steven Jordan.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Milltown Baptist Church, with Rev. Ken Brewer and Rev. Gettis Allen officiating.Burial will be in the Milltown Baptist Church Cemetery.

The body is at Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family are at the home of Thomas and Rhonda Jordan, 539 Melody Lane, Hartwell.Flowers optional, memorials may be made to the Milltown Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 1404 Ridge Road, Hartwell, Ga. 30643.
