Ms. Marilyn McAlhany Greenway, 52, of Risner Road, Hartwell, GA, died Monday, February 09, 2009 at Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, SC
Born March 29, 1956 in Branchville, SC, she is the daughter of Raymond H. "Mac" McAlhany and Whilimena Antley McAlhany of Hartwell, GA. She was a member of Reed Creek Baptist Church and was the Planning and Purchasing Supervisor for Monroe Auto Equipment Company.
She is survived by:Parents; Daughter, Jessica Gibson and her husband Carl of Fountain Inn, SC; Son, Clint Greenway of Hartwell, GA; Sisters, Linda Wood and her husband Dale of Bowersville, GA, Janice Freeman and her husband Tony of Hartwell, GA and Cindy Lawrence and her husband Tony of Hartwell, GA; Two grandchildren, Carl Gibson, IV and Emma Gibson also survive.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Rev. Bill Davidson and Rev. John Smith will officiate.Burial will be in the McAlhany Family Cemetery.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Wednesday night from 6 – 8:00 p.m.The family is at the home of Mr. & Mrs. R.H. McAlhany, 206 Walnut Drive, Hartwell, GA.Flowers are optional; Memorials may be made to InTouch Ministries, P.O. Box 7900, Atlanta, GA30357.
