Ms. Marilyn Munson Marsh, 80, of 121 Lakeshore Dr. Hartwell, died Sunday, September 21 at Hart County Hospital.

Born on February 10, 1928 in Newton Iowa, she was the daughter of the late James Price Munson and Edith Huffman Munson.She lived much of her adolescent and young adult years in North Little Rock AR and graduated with a B.S.E. in Banking and Finance from the University of Arkansas.She was a homemaker, member of the Nancy Hart Garden Club and the Hartwell First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son: Jim Marsh and his wife Elaine of Sumter SC; three daughters: Jan Oglesby and her husband Paul, Jean Conwell and her husband Norris & Judy Burroughs and her husband Brian all of Hartwell; a sister; Marcella Branch of Oklahoma City OK; seven grandchildren: Erica Marsh, Steven Marsh, Heath Oglesby, Will Oglesby, Adam Brown and his wife Jessica, Raleigh Burroughs and Lyle Burroughs; three great-grandchildren: Ethan Brown, Landon Brown and Lydia Burroughs also survive.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 23 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Carter Tucker officiating.Entombment will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday night.The family is at the home.Flowers optional, memorials may be made to Hartwell First Baptist Church, 81 E.
