Marilyn Furse Saxon, 70, of Anderson, SC passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at AnMed Health in Anderson, SC.

She was born April 2, 1952, in Atlanta, GA and was the adopted child of the late Marion and Florence Furse. Mrs. Saxon was a former secretary for the School of Business at the University of Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her son Jason Phillip Earwood.

She is survived by her husband, Alan Grady Saxon; mother-in-law Evelyn Johnson Saxon of Bowersville, GA, sister-in-law Connie Saxon Stovall and her husband Wayne Jessie Stovall of Cumming, GA, sister-in-law Sharon Lynette Saxon of Bowersville, GA.

Funeral Service will be held in the Strickland Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at 3 P.M. with Rev. Luther Thomason officiating. Burial willbe in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
