Obituary
Mrs. Marion Bernadine (Bimel) Chitwood, age 84, of Lavonia, died Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Stephens County Hospital. Born June 4, 1928, in Reedsburg, WI, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Emmaline (Eden) Bimel. She was homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Richard Chitwood; son: Richard Brian Chitwood; two brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by daughters: Gayleen Adkins of Lavonia, GA, Terri Bradley of WA, Shelly Stone of AZ, and Deborah Hodge of AR; sixteen grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
It was Mrs. Chitwood's wishes to be cremated. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
