Mrs. Marjorie Ault Bailey, 70, of Bowersville, passed away Friday, May 28, 2021 at her home.

Born on April 18, 1951 in Charleston, WV, she was the daughter of the late Andrew K. Ault and Lyda Miller Ault.Mrs. Bailey received a Masters in Special Education from Marshall University & she obtained two Bachelor's degrees in Christian Education & Christian Music. She was a former Special Education teacher at Sherman High School in Seth, WV, and she retired as a Special Education teacher at Hart County High School. Marjorie loved to read, and was a member at the Bowersville Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband: Bobby Bailey of Bowersville; son: Andrew Bailey (Sarah) of Bowersville; two daughters: Heather Bailey (Blake Estridge) & Karen Bailey (Mario Almond), all of Hartwell; a special friend whom she treated as a daughter: Regan Rose; brother: Richard Ault (Susan) of Pensacola, FL; sister: Andrea Ault of Virginia; and three grandchildren: Jocelyn Bailey, Jordan Erin Bailey, Myles Cassidy; and several nieces & nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Other times the family will be at the home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Marjorie Bailey will be held Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Connie Ivester officiating.Burial will be in the Bowersville City Cemetery.

Flowers are optional, memorials may be made to the Hart County High School Special Olympics, 59 Fifth Street, Hartwell, GA 30643.
