Mark Daniel Gibson, 60, of Lavonia, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at his home.
Born February 14, 1958, in Royston, he was the son of Ernest Junior and Gladys (Cawthon) Gibson. He was a self-employed contractor and was of the Christian faith.
He is survived by his children: Brad Gibson & Rebekah, Brandon Gibson & Nikki, Lauren Reeves & Justin, Tiffany McCoy & Mark; grandchildren: Cade and Nolan Gibson, Kaylyn and Grayson Gibson, Maddux Reeves, Cooper Reeves, Cason Reeves, and baby McCoy expected in January; siblings: Larry Joe Gibson, Rickey Gibson, and Tammy Melton.
The funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Kendall Scott and Rev. Justin Melton officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the service.
