Mr. Mark Loren Hollingsworth, 45, of Thornton Drive, Hartwell, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015 at his home.

Born on April 10, 1970 in Huntsville, AL, he was the son of Winston C. Hollingsworth and the late Vertice Brown Hollingsworth.Mr. Hollingsworth attended Bowman Church of God.

Survivors include his father: Winston C. Hollingsworth and step-mother Marie B. Hollingsworth; his wife: Elizabeth S. Hollingsworth; three sons: Ryan Hollingsworth and his wife Morgan, of Athens, Seth Hollingsworth of Gainesville, and Matthew Hollingsworth of Bowersville; three step-daughters: Amy Cooper, Tiffany Cooper and Erica Sanders all of Bowersville; two grandchildren: Emma Holmes and Dacia Cooper; and one brother: Darryl Hollingsworth of Richmond, VA also survive.Mr. Hollingsworth was preceded in death by his mother: Vertice Brown Hollingsworth; two brothers: Murray Hollingsworth and Philip Hollingsworth.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 7, 2015, 7:00 pm in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Stacey Lynch and Mr. Mike Myers officiating.Burial will be in the Antioch Free Will Baptist Church in Pineville, FL.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to defray funeral expenses.
