Mrs. Martha Lee Jordan Ginn, 87, of Ridge Road, Hartwell, died peacefully Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Hartwell Health Care Center.
Born on August 23, 1925 in Royston, GA, she was the daughter of the late Henry Jordan and Thelma Edwards Jordan.Mrs. Ginn was a homemaker while keeping children in her home daycare. She was also a member of the Goldmine Church of God.
Survivors include two daughters: Alice G. Byrum and her husband Doug of Hartwell, Darthy G. Morris and her husband Jimmy of Hartwell; three sons: Henry L. Ginn and his wife Martha of Elberton, Albert L. Ginn and his wife Linda of Hartwell, and Robert A. Ginn of Anderson, SC; one sister, Condyce Phillips of Marietta, GA.; Twelve grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren also survive.Mrs. Ginn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry Belvin Ginn; two brothers: Ken Jordan, Madison Jordon; two sisters: Wanda L. Cannon, Lenora Dean; and one grandchild, Trudy Lee Ginn.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home, with Rev. Phillip Patterson and Mr. Kevin Ginn officiating.Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Royston, GA.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday night.The family is at the home of Lisa & Robert Banks, 1066 Mt. Olivet Road, Hartwell.
