Mrs. Martha Ann Phillips Sanders, 73, of Bowersville, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2025 at home.

Born on May 28, 1952 in Royston GA, she was the daughter of the late Odis Franklin Phillips and Jeanette (Phillips) Phillips.  Mrs. Sanders was a former clerk at Arby's of Lavonia, loved to Sew, Cook, grow Flowers & Garden and made Wedding and Church dresses.  She loved the Lord and was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Lavonia.

Survivors include her husband: Leonard Sanders; a daughter: Tammie Baker (Brad) of Greer SC; a son: Adam Sanders of N. Augusta SC; a sister: Linda Campbell of Danielsville GA; four brothers: Travis Phillips, Floyd Phillips, Jerry Phillips and Charles Philips all of Danielsville GA; five grandchildren: Breanna Glasgow, Blake Glasgow, Brooke Glasgow, Madelynn Sanders and Remington Sanders; two great-grandchildren: Aston & Waylon also survive.

Mrs. Sanders was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson: Christian Sanders; two brothers: Ralph & James and two sisters: Louise & Dorothy.

Mrs. Sanders wished to be cremated and the family & friends will gather for a memorial service at a later date.

The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is assisting the family with all of the arrangements.
