Obituary
Mr. Marty Atticus Pearson, 49, of 44 Tahoe Drive, Hartwell, GA, died Monday, April 2, 2007 at Hart County Hospital.
Born September 2, 1957 in Hart County, Georgia, he was the son of the late Clifton Atticus Pearson and Louise Hayes Pearson.He was an Auto Mechanic for the Van Conversion Business and was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include:Sons, Waylon Pearson of Hartwell, GA and J.R. Pearson of Hartwell, GA; Long Time Companion, Joan Banks; Brother, Ted Pearson of Hartwell, GA; Sister, Christine Fuller of Toccoa, GA and four grandchildren.He is preceded in death by Parents, Son, Robert Pearson and a brother, Jeffery Pearson.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home-Hartwell Chapel.Rev. Donald Little will officiate.Burial will be in the Mt. Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends Wednesday from 2 – 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.The family is at their respective homes.
